Most of these cigars come from the factories of Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Mexico. Very often they are handmade in the same way as the expensive cigars are made. Also, the fillers and binders used in the manufacture of these cheap cigars are as same as their expensive counterparts. This means they are not cheap in quality though they are low in price.

Most cigars made outside Cuba are made using tobacco grown from Cuban seeds. They are grown under special controlled conditions. The harvesting of the leaves, drying and the curing process are specially monitored in order to get the quality tobacco used in the manufacture of the quality cigars. They are all handmade and by experienced rollers. Naturally these cigars fetch high prices. |

Some of the cheap cigars are made using the same process. For example Saint Luis Rey Roth childe cigars are made by Altadis in Honduras. They use quality fillers, binders and wrappers but still they are cheap at $2.12. When you read the comments by the users, they say it is a good quality cigar. |
